GENEVA CRIMINAL DEFENSE & PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEYS
TOP RATED CRIMINAL DEFENSE REPRESENTATION AND PERSONAL INJURY SERVICES IN GENEVA, NY
Solving Legal Problems in Geneva, NY
The King Law office in Geneva was opened to better serve the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier Region. Over the past several years we have represented several people for criminal or injury cases from our Rochester office. While appearing in court, it was apparent that most attorneys in the more rural areas were general practitioners. In our opinion, lawyers that focus their work are more effective. We selected the current office location because it is centrally located between Lyons, Waterloo, Canandaigua, Watkins Glen, Penn Yan, Auburn and Bath. We are determined to provide residents of these areas access to a local law firm that focuses its practice on only criminal and personal injury cases.
Our Geneva office is led by Jeremiah King. Jerry is former prosecutor in Schuyler, Stueben and Ontario Counties. He was assigned to the Ontario County Drug Treatment Court, the Ontario County Veteran’s Court and the Ontario County Mental Health Court prior to joining King Law. Jerry was also assigned as the lead prosecutor in Geneva City Court in 2019.

GENEVA CASE RESULTS
OUR RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.
King Law recently handled a case in the Town of Rose located in Wayne County. King Law quickly reached out to the person who had been arrested for Harassment in the Second Degree and scheduled an in-person appointment. Our client was alleged to have punched another individual multiple times in the face. After meeting with the client in a private and confidential setting, a case strategy was formed. We contacted the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office and negotiated an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal (“ACD”). An ACD meant that if King Law’s client did not get arrested for 6 months, the case would be dismissed. We went to Court with our client and the Judge put the ACD on the Court record.
King Law represented an individual charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree (“AUO3”), Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and a Lane Violation in the Town of Huron in Wayne County. We met with the client and formed two goals: (1) avoid an AUO3 conviction because it is a misdemeanor charge, and (2) avoid the Leaving the Scene of an Accident because of the high fines and high number of DMV points. King Law reached out the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office and negotiated on behalf of the client. An agreement was reached where King Law’s client would plead guilty to just the Lane Violation ticket. A plea was handled through the mail and no Court appearance was necessary. The goal was reached and the misdemeanor AUO3 and Leaving the Scene of an Accident ticket were both dismissed.
