Jerry King is a personal injury and criminal defense attorney at King Law. He is a strong advocate for his clients and works tirelessly to ensure they receive fair treatment under the law. He is an experienced negotiator who gets results for his clients. His attention to detail and personalized approach help his clients through some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives.

Education & Early Career

Jeremiah, or Jerry, as many call him, grew up in the Rochester area. Jerry graduated from St. John Fisher college and worked a variety of jobs, ranging from a beer salesman to a financial brokerage on Wall Street. Later, Jerry attended SUNY Buffalo Law School where he graduated Cum Laude. During Law School Jerry worked as an intern for the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.

After graduating, Jerry spent his first year exclusively representing Veterans in a variety of civil matters. Jerry began his career as an Assistant District Attorney. Jerry
handled thousands of criminal cases and spent 2 years as a prosecutor in Schuyler County, 2 years in Steuben County, and 3 years in Ontario County working on misdemeanors and felonies. After leaving the DA’s Office, Jerry has spent the past 4 years as a criminal defense attorney and environmental attorney.

Present Day

Jerry has represented hundreds of individuals charged with crimes and has effectively and passionately achieved good results through plea negotiations, motions to dismiss, and in winning jury trials.

Jerry has also worked on a team of attorneys in cases involving toxic water, including firefighting foam, Camp Lejeune toxic water, and municipal PFAS. Jerry is passionate about representing individuals and municipalities who are affected by the contaminants that big companies introduced into the drinking water of Americans.
